What we collect

Your name, email, current role, and project interest. You can optionally provide your city and a phone number, and separately choose WhatsApp updates. We also record your consent, the signup time, the campaign labels and referring page from the link you used, and an approximate country derived from your network connection. Some pages also use your approximate city, derived the same way, to show your city’s name and prefill the optional city field, which you can change before submitting.

Why we collect it

To understand interest in the first SkillStacks cohort and send you its course plan, dates, fees, and enrolment information. We do not sell your details. Joining the waitlist does not enrol you in a paid course.

Where your details go

Details are stored in a private database used by SkillStacks and its hosting providers. They are not displayed on the public website. The form does not automatically add you to a WhatsApp group.

How we improve the page

To see which parts of this page help people and where they get stuck, we record anonymous interactions: sections viewed, how far you scroll, buttons clicked, which form fields you start (never what you type), and form errors. These are tied to a random ID that lasts only for your browser tab, not a cookie, and are linked to your waitlist record if you sign up. We keep these events for up to 180 days and do not share them with advertisers.

Spam protection

We may temporarily store a hashed email or IP address and submission count to limit spam. These short-lived records expire after ten minutes and are cleaned up during subsequent signups. We do not use advertising cookies in this version of the website.

Your choices

New signups receive a private preference link on the confirmation screen. Save it to remove your waitlist record at any time. You can also reply to a SkillStacks cohort message to withdraw consent or request a correction or deletion. Duplicate signups do not change existing contact permissions.

Retention

We use waitlist details for the first-cohort launch and follow-up. The team will review records within 90 days of the cohort launch and remove information that is no longer needed, unless you separately choose to stay in touch.
